    WE ARE: The SAFTAS team, commonly known as the A-Team, is a group of men and women providing high-end professional manpower services to Headquarters Air Force (HAF). Our team of over 300 employees from four diverse companies provides technical and analytical services, high technology conference facilities, and an Innovation Center that provides group-oriented collaborative decision support services. OUR COMPANIES: Senior managers from JACOBS Engineering, KARTA Technologies, and CACI work together with the Alion Science and Technology's Program Manager to provide a "single face to the customer" operation. This management team develops and executes all A-Team policies and procedures. This collaboration includes a single travel system, security clearance operation, and most importantly a single performance assessment and merit pay system. OUR CLIENTS: We support the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force (Acquisition), the Undersecretary of the Air Force for Space Acquisition, the AF Program Executive Officer for Aircraft, the AF Program Executive Officer for Joint Strike Fighter, the AF Scientific Advisory Board, as well as other organizations within the HAF that require acquisition-related support. OUR SKILL SETS: Our manpower focus is on providing highly qualified personnel who, because of their unique and targeted experience, require minimal lead-time to be fully productive for our customer. We interface on a daily basis with other headquarters organizations, the Office of the Secretary of Defense Staff, and Air Force Material Command and its subordinate organizations.
